Devoting my life to helping others, I have made it my life's mission to use every precious moment to make a positive difference. As a real estate agent, I know the power we all possess to change someone’s life with the right care, attention and compassion.

It was a constant juggling act, trying to do my very best work at my day job while also spending my nights and weekends establishing my real estate career. There was little time for rest or relaxation, but I was motivated by one simple goal: to help as many people as I could.

Growing up in the close-knit community of Hueytown, on the outskirts of Birmingham, Alabama, family and faith formed the bedrock of my upbringing. My parents preached the importance of community, helping anyone and everyone who needed it.

The very first career I wanted to pursue was nursing; however, I began working at a bank, prompting me to get an Associate’s degree in Business Administration. I realized that whatever position I was in, I had the power to greatly impact those around me. Whether it is being a friendly face or providing helpful information and guidance, the little things make a difference in someone's day.

In 1999, I began working for Bell South Telecommunications. I worked in the collections department, wanting to help people through difficult times. I spent my days empathizing with people over the phone, often having the highest talk time, but by the end of the calls, I had connected with the people I spoke to and often helped them create a plan for their payments that worked for their budget.

My approach was putting people first and the money second. In 2006, I transitioned to customer service, providing benefit information at the United States Department of Social Security.

My journey into real estate began unexpectedly during my tenure. I've always had an unwavering desire to help people, particularly during challenging times. Real estate had always been in the back of my mind. My family knows me as the decorator, helping prepare their homes for Christmas or suggesting ways to make their houses feel more like homes. When a family member suggested I get my license, I realized it was finally time to try my hand at something I had long dreamed about.

I took the leap in 2007, taking my real estate exam and obtaining my license in March of that year. I developed my passion for helping clients find the right location, the right price and the right space to meet their needs. Balancing a full-time job and the arduous task of launching my real estate career took nearly all of my time.

Yet, against all odds, I managed to sell nine houses in my very first year, signifying that this was sustainable. The days were long, but the gratification of helping so many people made every moment worth it. For many years, it was a balancing act, but as tough as it could be, every transaction I helped close inspired me to keep going. As I became a more experienced REALTOR®, I started mentoring newer agents.

Through my experiences, I hope to demonstrate to them that hard work does pay off. While it may not happen overnight, each person we can help makes us better at the important work we do. Helping these agents while improving industry standards is yet another fulfilling part of my job. In 2023, I officially retired from my job, allowing me to focus entirely on real estate, and when not working, have more time with family and friends, baking and watching movies together. In this new chapter, I am reminded of how much I was able to achieve over all those years despite the immense workload on my plate. If I could help many clients then, I can’t wait to see how many people I can help now! Real estate is the perfect conduit to uplift those around me.

The industry naturally aligns with my core values of service and community engagement. I've heard countless tales of people's distressing experiences in real estate. It is my mission to provide a more compassionate, honest and client-centric approach. My primary goal has always been to help people find their dream homes and navigate the often complex process of buying or selling property. With the right guidance, this can be a rewarding, enjoyable process. My specialties in real estate include home staging, where I go the extra mile to ensure my clients' properties shine in the market.

Most of my homes sell within 30 days because of the special touches and detail I put into every listing. Finding creative solutions is yet another exciting part of my job – from strategic renovations to finding unique opportunities in specific neighborhoods, I will work hard for you to make your dreams possible. When the transaction is over, I will continue supporting you as your REALTOR® for life.

Sincerely,
